Sustainabilty Club- Vermicompost

The goal for the Sustainability Club is to educate teens (ages 12-18) about current environmental issues while providing practical solutions.  

For this program patrons will create a vermicompost display for the library. Vermicompost uses earthworms to speed up the decay process of food waste, into nutrients for plants. Patrons will learn about our current food cycling system, and how to create their own vermicompost at home.
