Reading Buddies
In Reading Buddies, middle school and high school students volunteer as "Big Buddies" to mentor "Little Buddies" (grades K - 4). This program is designed to nurture a love of reading, build confidence, and foster community connections.
Together, "Big Buddies" and "Little Buddies" enjoy one-on-one reading time, reading-based games, group activities, and moments of reflection. All in a fun and supportive environment!
2026 Fall Reading Buddies session:

Gypsum Public Library: Mondays, September 28 to November 9, 4:30 - 5:30 PM.

Eagle Public Library: Tuesdays, September 29 to November 10, 4:30 - 5:30 PM.

Avon Public Library: Wednesdays, September 30 to November 4, 4:30 - 5:30 PM.
There are no sessions the week of October 12.
